Curtis Lundberg Obituary
Curtis Gotfred Lundberg (87) of Pepin, WI died Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Pepin Health & Rehab. He was born November 30, 1927 in Pepin, WI; son of Clarence and Lilian (Larson) Lundberg. He attended Barry Corner School and worked on the family farm.
On October 4, 1952 he married Marjorie O'Conner at Lund Mission Covenant Church in Lund, WI. Marjorie died in March of this year. Together they worked their farm in Lund until 1964 when they moved to a farm near Spring Valley. After many years of farming they retired and moved to Pepin in 2010, where they began to attend Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Curtis was a very successful dairy farmer. He enjoyed farming and especially riding his horses, for enjoyment and work on the farm. He was a very kind and gentle man who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; his parents; brother, Darrel Lundberg and two sisters, Joanne Dion and Verneal Hood.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 11, 2015 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pepin, WI with Pastor Karna Marks officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Burial will be at the Marie Lund Cemetery. Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand is assisting the family.
