Donald Orlin Bignell 67, of Arkansaw, WI passed away September 1, 2016 at Chippewa Valley Hospital In Durand WI. Don was born April 19, 1949 in Plum City, WI. the son of the late Orlin and Mabel (Claflin) Bignell.
He graduated from Arkansaw High School in 1967. On May 1, 1976 he married Patricia Berger in Eau Claire, WI. In his early years he worked at the Red Wing Shoe Co. He then drove Semi for Pittman Transport, and later worked for Foremost Farms USA in Wilson. He loved anything mechanical, he raced stock cars for many years and he was an avid race fan, he liked tractor pulls and restored antique tractors.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Patricia, 2 nephews Randall (Linda) Brantner, Reginald(Debbie) Brantner, and 2 nieces Rebecca Isaacs, and Sheila(Bruce) Anderson. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Jo Ann (Frank) Pugh and a nephew Ricky Brantner.
There will be an informal Celebration of Life for Don, September 10th at ll:00 a.m. at the home of their dear friends Mike and Tina Sandager W7213 170th Ave. Bay City, Wi. 54723
