Eugene Warren Anderson

Eugene Warren Anderson (51) of Durand, WI died Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 7, 1962 in Durand, WI; son of Marvin G. Anderson & Carol Chroninger. He attended Arkansaw High School. Following school, Gene moved to Missouri to be with his brother, Randy. He then moved to Readstown, WI where he worked various jobs. There he met and married Sue Anderson, Eventually they moved to Durand, WI., where they had a daughter, Chelsea. They later divorced. Gene Stayed in the Durand area. He continued logging until his health prevented him from working. Gene was very proud of his achievements, owning and operating his own logging business. He was especially proud of his daughter, Chelsea.

Gene enjoyed hunting, fishing and old cars with his brothers when he was younger. He also enjoyed shooting pool, country music festivals, riding a Harley, watching the Green Bay Packers and spending time outdoors. He and his best friend, Todd enjoyed time together, hopping in the convertible for a ride, destination unknown. Gene will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Chelsea of Readstown, WI; mother, Carol (Duane) Chroninger of Readstown, WI; brother, Randy (Cheryl Huston) Anderson of Durand, WI; sister, LuAnn (Lavern) Snider of Mondovi, WI; brother, David (Carolyn) Anderson of Downsville, WI; sister-in-law, Tonya Anderson of Arkansaw, WI; special friend, Tammy Hollister; best friend, Todd Doverspike; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Eugene is preceded in death by his father, Marvin G. Anderson; an infant brother and brother, Rick Anderson.

Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the Community of Christ Church in Arkansaw, WI. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
