George Fayerweather Obituary
George William Fayerweather (86) of Pepin, WI died Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Pepin Manor. He was born August 7, 1927 in Pepin, WI; son of Harry & Hattie (Hince) Fayerweather. He graduated from Pepin High School.
On June 19, 1946 he married Virginia Martin in Lake City, MN. George farmed, drove school bus, worked at the locker plant and Pepin Feed Mill. He was a rural route carrier for over thirty years in the Pepin area. George was a member of the Pepin County Civil Defense.
He enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed sawing logs, hunting, fishing, collecting rocks and traveling.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary (Donald) Borchardt of Pepin, WI ; sons, James (Cindy) Fayerweather, David (Leanna) Fayerweather both of Pepin, WI, Larry (Therese) Fayerweather of Nelson, WI; daughter-in-law, Cathy Oestreich of River Falls, WI; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, June Fayerweather of Boyertown, PA and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by parents, Harry & Hattie (Hince) Fayerweather; his wife, Virginia; sons, Gary & Danny Fayerweather and brother, Archie Fayerweather.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Friday, September 6, 2013 at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pepin with Pastor Greg Satterberg officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Pepin.
