Gerald Kallstrom Obituary
Gerald LeRoy Kallstrom (87) of rural Arkansaw, WI died Thursday, May 31, 2018 at his home. He was born July 16, 1930 in Frankfort Township, Pepin County, WI; son of Elmer and Elna (Andrews) Kallstrom. He attended Ella School.
On September 2, 1949 he married Jean Ann Meier in Menomonie. They farmed for two years in Plum Creek, and then moved to Bear Pen Coolie where they farmed for thirty years. In 1980 they moved to Swede Ramble. Jean died February 6, 1996.
Gerald enjoyed collecting Ford Model A cars and Allis Chalmers tractors.
He is survived by his special friend and partner, Rose Schulenberg; his daughters, Marilyn (Larry) Hanson of Elk Mound, WI, Betty (James) Jenson of Sioux Falls, SD, Katherine Johnson of Menomonie, WI; sons, James ( Dana) Kallstrom of Colfax, WI, Robert (Carol) Kallstrom of Arkansaw, WI, David (Angela) Kallstrom of Menomonie, WI; twenty grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Elna ; wife, Jean; great-granddaughter, Issabella Hope Smith.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand with Pastor Dan Richardson officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Pepin.
