Stephanie Marie Rathbun (34) of Durand, WI died Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire, WI. She was born January 14, 1980 in Durand, WI; daughter of Phyllis Lee and Steven Cataract. She graduated from Durand High School in 1998. On July 18, 1998 she married Kory Rathbun at the United Methodist Church in Durand.
She worked various jobs, including Wee Care Day Care in Durand and Shepards Fold in Eau Claire. She later became a CNA and worked at the Plum City and Ellsworth Care Centers. Stephanie loved animals and enjoyed 4-wheeling, riding the Harley and watching her favorite shows on Boomerang .Mostly she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Kory Rathbun; her children, Shelby Ann, Cody Allen, Emily Mae, all at home; mother, Phyllis (Ray) Lee of Durand, WI, father, Steven ( Michelle) Cataract of Rock Falls, WI; sisters, Lisa (Bobby) Seipel of Stockholm, WI, Cassidy Lee of Durand, WI; brother, Mark Cataract of Rock Falls, WI; grandparents, Wayne and Arlene Cataract of Arkansaw, WI; mother-in-law, Pam Rathbun of Durand, WI, father-in-law, Rodney Rathbun of Thorp, WI, brother-in-law, Nicholas (Kristin) Rathbun of Durand, WI; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter L. and Eldora Hovland.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Durand with Pastor Grace Baldridge officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Durand. Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 p.m Monday, August 4, 2014 at Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
