Ann Breitung Obituary
Ann Marie Breitung, age 69, of Pepin, died on Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Plum City Care Center. She was born on July 27, 1950 in Durand, the daughter of W.M. "Peewee" and Donna (Dale) Thompson. She worked in the meat department at her parent's grocery store for many years. She was also a life guard for several years.
On September 11, 1970, she was united in marriage to Alan Edward Breitung. The couple raised two children and made their home in Pepin for many years. Alan passed away in 2011.
She enjoyed camping, boating, fishing and just being outdoors. Ann was a loving soul who will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her two daughters, Amy (Bob) Wehrs and Kari (Royd) Breitung; two grandchildren, Ashley Newman and David Smith; great-granddaughter, Natalie Newman; sister, Nancy (Michael) Walton; and brother, Dale (Marcia) Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan; granddaughter, Erin Smith; and her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Pepin with Pastor Karna Marks officiating.
