Arlys Martinson Obituary
Arlys Agnes Martinson (69) of Durand passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at home after a short battle with cancer. She was born May 27, 1946 in Arcadia, WI; daughter of John and Erma (Veto) Marsh.
She graduated from Winona High School. On June 14, 1965 she married Victor Martinson in Winona, MN. They lived in rural Galesville until the early 1980's when they moved to the Pepin area. In the early 1990's they moved to Durand. Victor passed away in December of 1997. Arlys worked at various factories in the area. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and doing farm work.
Arlys is survived by her sons, Victor (Hope) Martinson of Menomonie, WI ,Teddy (Chelsa) Martinson of Durand, WI; daughter, Daneya Severson of Fountain City, WI ;six grandchildren, Christopher, Victor, Tiffany, Deaven, Allison, Jacob; three great-grandchildren, Mia, Kayden, Maliki; brother, Curtis Marsh of Galesville,WI; sisters, Arvis George of Cochrane, WI and Renay (Lavern) Martinson of Winona, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor Martinson.
