Charley Brown Obituary
Charley Junior Brown (53) of Menomonie, formerly of Durand, WI, died Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI. He was born November 7, 1963 in Baldwin, WI; son of Charles and Lorraine (Carlson) Brown.
He graduated from Durand High School. Charley worked at Indianhead Enterprises in Menomonie for years. He enjoyed mowing the lawn, fishing, going out to eat, riding his bike and going for walks. He enjoyed watching football and was a fan of the Green Bay Packers. Charley loved to spend time with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his brothers, Larry Brown of Eau Claire, Michael Brown of Chippewa Falls; sister, Melody (Thomas) Jansen of Red Wing, MN; brother-in-law, Rodger Wulff; niece, Crystal (Nicklaus) Gilbertson; nephews, Cory and Christopher Keeler; three great-nephews, Lincoln, Zachary and Josiah Gilbertson. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Judith Wulff.
The family would like to thank the kind and caring caregivers at the Linden House in Menomonie where Charley lived for many years.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand, WI with Pastor Lisa Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Arkansaw Memorial Cemetery.
