Donna Silberhorn Obituary
Donna June Silberhorn of Durand, WI passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, March 13, 2017 at Chippewa Valley Hospital in Durand. She was born June 22, 1929 in Arkansaw,WI; daughter of Walter Wellington and Pearl Verene (Richardson) Coburn. Donna graduated from Arkansaw High School.
On May 31, 1947 she married Carl Edward Silberhorn at the United Methodist Church in Arkansaw, WI. Donna was a homemaker who enjoyed golfing, bowling, quilting, putting together puzzles and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed watching her kids and grandkids participate in extracurricular activities, which included being a leader of boy scouts. She loved hosting Monday deck parties with her late husband for family and friends. Donna had an infectious personality that always made you feel welcomed.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Lana) Silberhorn of Durand, Richard Silberhorn of Durand, Jill (Greg) Bauer of Eau Claire, Kelly (Robert) Hess of Durand. Also survived by ten grandchildren, Paul (Sara) Odegard, Thomas Odegard, Megan (Lee) Caminiti, Lesley (Kevin) Schuman, Tiffany (Steve) Harmon, Tucker Silberhorn, Blu Silberhorn, Beth Larson, Skyler Bauer and Sifia (Jeff) Jevne; and many great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren by extended family. Donna is survived by sisters, Clarabele Hei of Pinehurst, ID, Carole Sandburg of Oklahoma City, OK; and many nieces and nephews
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Pearl; husband, Carl; daughter, Carla Odegard; son, Mark Silberhorn; grandson, Jay Odegard; brother, William Coburn; and sister, Beverly Hoffman.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the United Methodist Church in Arkansaw with Pastor Lisa Weaver officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Durand. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until time of services at the church on Saturday. Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand is assisting the family.
