Dwayne Ralph Land (92) of Pepin, Wisconsin died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at the Lutheran Home in River Falls, Wisconsin. He was born August 24, 1919 in Artesian, South Dakota; son of Ralph & Lola Wire Land. Dwayne served in the United States Air Force. He married Theone Harriet Kelly on March 31, 1939. She preceded him in death on July 20, 1993. He is survived by his children, Jeannie (James) Cernohous of River Falls, WI; Jerry (Sandra) Land of Bull Head City, AZ; Joanne (Robert) Sawatzky of Rice Lake, WI; ten grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Velda Bircher of Minneapolis, MN. A private burial will be held at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Pepin. Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand is assisting the family.
