Edward Wyant Obituary
Edward Dale Wyant (77) of Pepin, WI died Monday, July 1, 2013 at his home with his family by his side after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 28, 1936 in Austin, MN; son of Edward Charles and Hazel (Wallem) Wyant. Ed graduated from Austin High School.
On March 30, 1957 he was united in marriage to Joan Marie Crilly. They lived in Rochester, MN where Ed worked at IBM for over thirty years. Following his retirement Ed and Joan moved to Pepin, WI. They spent their winters in Brownsville, TX.
Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, collecting, traveling, carpentry and working in the garage. He loved spending time with family and friends on the deck overlooking Lake Pepin and in Brownsville,TX.
He is survived by his wife Joan Wyant of Pepin, WI; son, Edward William Wyant of Zumbro Falls, MN; daughters, Sandra Jean Wyant of Chaska, MN and Cheryl Lynn Wyant of Memphis, TN; grandsons, Joshua (Anne) Wyant of Stewartville, MN, Jeffrey (Dana) Wyant of Plainview, MN; granddaughter, Angela (Mike) Conlin of Stewartville, MN; great-grandsons, Zachary Wyant, Elijah Wyant, Tarin Conlin, Easton Wyant; great-granddaughter, Kahlan Wyant; brothers, Charles (Leora) Wyant of Austin, MN, Gary Wyant of Dallas, TX; sisters, Berniece Molde of Stewartville, MN, Evelyn (Jim) Allgood of Austin, MN , Linda (Fred) Drehobl of Lake of the Woods, IL and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, David Charles Wyant.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Friday, July 5, 2013 at United Methodist Church in Pepin, WI with Pastor Tammy Clausen officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Pepin, WI.
