Elizabeth Louise Pickering
Elizabeth Louise Pickering, age 85, died peacefully at home on August 19th, 2012. She was the oldest of the 4 children born to George and Clara Van Eyck. She lived the majority of her life in the Green Bay area before moving to Durand, Wisconsin to be closer to relatives. Elizabeth married her husband Carl in September of 1955 at the United Methodist Church in Arkansaw, WI. They had been married for almost 50 years at the time of his death. Elizabeth worked in communications for Kimberly Clark in the tele-type room for nearly 40 years. Elizabeth enjoyed traveling with her husband and others throughout the US, she loved going out to eat, playing card games and dice, but mostly just loved being around people. Elizabeth was proceeded in death by her husband and her parents. She is survived by her 3 siblings: Delores (Wayne) Glasnap of Loomis, CA; Lee (Judy) Van Eyck of San Diego, CA; Darlene (Earl) Pasono of Sun City Center, Florida and by many other cousin who live locally. Her presence and gently nature will be missed by those who cared for her. The family would like to thank Mayo Hospice for the special care they gave Elizabeth. Private services will be held at a later date. Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand assisted the family.
