Gerald Reinhardt Obituary
Gerald Lee Reinhardt (79) of rural Plum City, WI passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Wabasha, MN following surgery. He was born February 28, 1934 on a farm near Gilmanton, WI; son of John and Ruth (Haase) Reinhardt.
He graduated from Nelson High School in 1952. Following high school he served as a MP in the United States Army. Gerald married Elda Komisar on June 21, 1956. They farmed most of their lives near Plum City.
He is survived by his sons, Gerald "Butch" (Jeannie) Reinhardt Jr. of Arkansaw, WI, Thomas Reinhardt of Pepin, WI; daughter, Kathy (Paul) Bechel of Plum City, WI; five grandchildren, Laura Bechel, Michael Bechel (Adrienne LaBreck), Alijah, Alexis and Aliyas Reinhardt; four great-grandchildren, Brody, Nickolai, Laila and Bella; sister, Jean Sullivan of Wabasha, MN; brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Loine Reinhardt of Ennis, MT; sister-in-law, Patty Reinhardt of Wabasha, MN. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elda in 2006; his parents; two brothers, Roger and John Jr.
A Memorial gathering will be held at the Community of Christ Church in Arkansaw, WI on Thursday, February 6, 2014 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. with a service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Dan Richardson will officiate.
