Lucielle Juliot Obituary
Lucielle Margaret Juliot passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Fairview Seminary Home in Red Wing, Minnesota. Lucielle was born January 30, 1920, the daughter of Joseph and Cennie (Potts) Baader. She was raised on farms in the Nelson area. She attended grade school in Nelson and Cascade. She helped at home on the farm and lived with her Granma Potts, whom she helped for nine years.
On May 5, 1938, she married John Juliot from Pepin. They lived in the Pepin area all their married life. To this union four sons were born, James Curtis Juliot, Ronald John Juliot, Steven Pierre Juliot and Jerome Keith Juliot. Lucielle worked as a store clerk, bartender and waitress. She then worked in the hot lunch program at Pepin Schools for twenty years.
She loved to be with children in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and church. She loved cooking, baking, sewing, crafts, painting and scrap books. Lucielle always said she was a jack of all trades but a master of none. She also had a huge collection of salt and pepper shakers.
Lucielle is survived by sons, Ronald (Mary), Steve (Mary) and Jerry (Bong); eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; one brother, Joe Baader; two sisters, Dorothy Hanson and Betty (Elroy) Brommer; sisters-in-law, Doris Baader, Ila Baader and Lucy Baader; many nieces and nephews (they always called her "Aunt Billie").
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John ; son, James; grandson, Jeffrey; brothers, Lester, Roy, John and Earl Baader; sisters, Rose Menting, Bernice Strand, Cennie Baader and Leona Sandberg; sister-in-law, Clenora Baader; brothers-in-law, Wilbert Menting, Harold Strand and Leslie Sandberg.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand. Pastor Mary Balson officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Pepin at a later date. Friends may call Friday, February 24 from 5:00-8:00 p.m and one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday.
