Wendy Diane Holz, age 49, of Porcupine, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. She was born on April 17, 1969 in Cleveland, OH to Charles and Sandy (Sharibok) Lindsey. She grew up in Indiana and moved to Minnesota in 1983. Wendy married her high school sweetheart, Brad Holz, on July 8, 1989 in St. Paul, MN. The couple made their home in Braham, MN and welcomed two daughters: Amanda and Kristina. They later moved to Wisconsin. Wendy homeschooled her daughters and was previously a paralegal. She liked to ride motorcycles, socialize, and spend time with her family. She opened her home and her heart to many. She was a second mom to many. Wendy will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Brad; two daughters, Amanda (Randy Ott) Holz of Upland, CA and Kristina (Chris) Rice of Cambridge, MN; one granddaughter, Madison Heling; one granddaughter on the way, Phoenyx Rice; parents, Charles and Sandy Lindsey of Isanti, MN; sister, Loreen (Jeff Johnson) Lindsey of Bethel, MN; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Nicole Lindsey, and her grandparents.
A celebration of Wendy's life will be held from 3-9pm on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the Maiden Rock American Legion (W2770 20th Ave, Maiden Rock, WI 54750). Goodrich Funeral Home, Durand is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be shared at www.goodrichfh.com.
