Bonnie Eljean (Breitung) Shaw

Bonnie Eljean Shaw, age 83, of Pepin, WI passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

Bonnie was born October 8, 1938 in Pepin, WI to Leo and Mildred (Marcks) Breitung. She graduated from Pepin High School in 1956. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Fred Shaw on December 10, 1960 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Pepin.

Bonnie and Fred owned the Country Gentlemen Men’s Clothing store and the Norgetown Laundromat in Ellsworth, WI. She also did child care in her home for many years. Bonnie enjoyed league bowling, painting ceramics, her birthday club, card group with the girls and was a member of the Red Hat’s.  Bonnie and Fred enjoyed traveling over the years.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Mildred (Marcks) Breitung; infant brother, Leo; sisters, Merridy (Richard) Berg, Janice (George) Tropple, Carole (Verle) Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Shaw; her children, Tonya Shaw, Todd (Tammy) Shaw and Timothy Shaw; three grandchildren, Jesse Shaw, Brandon Shaw, Emma Dusek-Shaw; five great-grandchildren, Ayden, Ian, Evan, Kai, and Lissette; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Pepin. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
