Celia Mae Seifert

Celia Mae Seifert (89) of Pepin, WI passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Plum City Care Center. She was born November 15, 1929 at home in Little Plum; daughter of Emery and Ruby (Kallstrom) Bocksell. She graduated from Arkansaw High School. She met Dale F. Seifert at Little Plum. They were married August 15, 1947 at Pepin Hill Evangelical Free Church. Celia and Dale celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in August of 2007. They lived in Little Plum and later moved to Pepin, WI. Dale died March 5, 2008. Celia was a homemaker all of her life, caring for her family and those around her. She enjoyed watching the Twins, playing piano, listening to music and camping. She also spent a lot of time volunteering at the Pepin Manor.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Seifert of Pepin, WI, Keith Seifert of Pepin, WI, Steven (Lori) Seifert of Windom, MN; daughters, Sue Seifert of Pepin, WI and Carrie (Preston) Lehnartz of Pepin, WI ; granddaughters, Michelle Sirna of Lewisville, TX and Delaney Lehnartz of Pepin, WI; grandson, Aleck Lehnartz of Pepin, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Ruby (Kallstrom) Bocksell; husband, Dale; daughter, Faye Sirna; infant brother, Bernard Bocksell.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Pepin with Pastor Lisa Weaver officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Burial will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery in Pepin. Arrangements by Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand Wisconsin.
