Glen Gene Rageth (72) of Eau Claire formerly of Durand, WI died Thursday, February 10, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 28, 1949 in Arkansaw, WI; son of Dale and Ruby (Bignell) Rageth.
When Glen was young the family moved to Kansas. There he graduated from Paradise High School in 1967. Following high school, he joined the United States Army.
He moved back to Wisconsin in 1980 and lived in Menomonie, Durand, and Eau Claire.
He attended Stout in Menomonie from 1981 to 1986 and graduated with a degree in Business Administration.
He worked as a postal carrier for the US Postal service for over thirty years. After retirement he got bored and worked at Sears automotive until it closed 2018.
Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, ATVing, country drives, Polka music, Westerns (Especially John Wayne), and sneaking food usually french fries to his furry grand-puppy Tinkerbell.
Survived by his children, Nick Rageth of Lake Hallie, WI; Amanda Rageth of Eau Claire, WI; Jerod (Loretta) Rageth of Durand, WI; five granddaughters, Jessie, Katie, and Rachel Rageth (Nick), Alexis Crabtree (Amanda), and Tabby Rageth (Jerod); siblings, Marie (Douglas) Gavin, Irene (Dennis) Hatt, Betty (Charles) Gooden, Ed (Judy) Rageth, Mary (Robert) Doody, David Rageth, Larry (Dorothy) Rageth, John Rageth, Dale “Slim” (Jennifer) Rageth; Nancy (Roger) Hammett and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Ruby (Bignell) Rageth; sisters, Doreen, Elaine Kay “Katie” Ramsey, Dorothy Litchfield, and brother, Elmer Rageth.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the Community of Christ Church in Arkansaw, WI with Pastor Dan Richardson officiating. Military Honors will follow the funeral service. Visitation will be Monday, February 28, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand, WI and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
