Linda Gaye Bolland (56) of Durand, WI died peacefully at her home on Sunday, September 9, 2012 after a long battle with CNS vasculitis. She was born January 3, 1956 in Rochester, MN; daughter of Normon and Anne Carr Flagel. She attended school in Rochester.
She was a social services supervisor for Olmsted County for twenty-one years. After moving to the Durand area in 1998 Linda worked as a social services supervisor in Wabasha County for over ten years.
On November 22, 2000 she married Fred Bolland in Las Vegas, Nevada. Linda and Fred enjoyed spending winters at their home in Lake Havasu, Arizona. Linda also enjoyed gardening and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Fred of Durand, WI; son, Jason Flagel of Beaufort, SC; step-son, Trevor (Shanon) Bolland of Red Wing, MN; step-daughters, Rachel Kleis of Shakopee, MN; Laura Bolland of Menomonie, WI; thirteen grandchildren; three sisters, Lauri (Pat) Ventrelli of Rochester, MN; Deb (Jeffrey) Scott of Rochester, MN; Chris Werner (Jon Bauer) of Medford, WI; one brother, Curt Flagel of AR and her dog, Jake. She is preceded in death by her parents, Normon and Anne Carr Flagel.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m Friday, September 14, 2012 at Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand, WI. Pastor Dan Richardson officiating. Burial will be a Forest Hill Cemetery in Durand. Friends may call Thursday from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home and one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Friday.
