Lon Meixner Obituary

Lon Meixner , 76, of Pepin, WI passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 6, 2023 after a short battle with cancer. He was born February 9, 1947; son of Ralph and Beulah (Weisenbeck) Meixner.

He was a U.S Navy Vietnam Veteran and member of Nelson VFW Post 6201.

He retired in 2005 from the Army Corps of Engineers as lockmaster at Alma Lock & Dam #4.

Lon enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He especially loved gardening with his brother Ron.

He is survived by wife Linda of 56 years, sons, Aaron (Mary), Brian and daughter, Amy (Dan); 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Ron, Alberta, Daniel, Steven, Ralph and David.

As per Lon’s wishes there will be no services.
