Luann Elizabeth (Hoyt) Wood

Luann Elizabeth Wood, 82, of Arkansaw died Sunday, September 17, 2023 at her home. She was born June 8, 1941 in Elmwood, WI; daughter of Johley and Alice (Snider) Hoyt.

She graduated from Elmwood High School.

On May 8, 1960 she married Arnold Wood in Stillwater, MN. Luann worked various jobs in the area.

She enjoyed fishing, cooking, visiting with people, and going for car rides looking for deer.

Luann loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Tim, Tom (Kim), Arnold Jr. (Alisha), David, Ricky, Randy (Brenda), Brad, Krystal, Connie Anderson, Jan Peyer; son-in-law, Darrell Berger; many grandchildren and great- grandchildren; siblings, Arla (Durwood) Scholz, Opal Larson, Delton (Sue) Hoyt; Eldon “Peter” (Linda) Hoyt, and Denton (Donna) Hoyt; along with many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; daughter, Rhonda Berger; significant other, Arnold Anderson; parents, Johley and Alice (Snider) Hoyt; siblings, Elgie, Virgil, Orville, Verla, Elaine, Donnis; and an infant sister; grandson, Dustin Wood; son-in-law, Lee Anderson.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the Community of Christ Church in Arkansaw, WI with Pastor Dan Richardson officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand, WI and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in Clearview Cemetery in Eau Galle, WI
