Obituary
Matthew Roger Hebel, 34, of Durand, WI died Thursday, February 10, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN. He was born July 28, 1987 in Portage, WI; son of William and Bonnie (Stafford) Hebel.
Matt was home schooled and helped by his aunt, Becky Doverspike , before attending and graduating from Durand High School in 2006. After graduation Matt enjoyed driving for Amish families in the area. He enjoyed gaming, trail riding on his Rzr, fishing, hunting prairie dogs with his dad, watching his brother, Russ race cars and watching scary movies. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and cousins.
He is survived by his parents, William and Bonnie (Stafford) Hebel of Durand, WI; his brothers, Russel of Endeavor, WI, Michael of South Range, WI and William D. of Durand, WI; maternal grandparents, Bruce Stafford and Diane Biederman; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Otto and Margaret Hebel.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm with a 6:45 pm prayer service at Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand, WI. To express on-line condolences, visit obituaries at www.goodrichfh.com
