Phyllis L. Lane
Phyllis Lorraine Lane (83) of Durand, died peacefully Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the Oakview Care Center in Durand, WI.
She was born September 15, 1928 in Durand, WI; daughter of Gustav and Ruby (Longsdorf) Bergner. She was raised and lived in Durand her entire life.
On September 25, 1951 she married Ervin Lane in Durand. Together they raised one daughter and four sons. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Phyllis is survived by one daughter, Priscilla (Chuck) Wolf of Elmwood; four sons, Brad (Tracy) of Hastings, MN, Steve (Cindy), Ron (Theresa) and Jody (Trudi) all Durand; fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Willie Bergner of Durand; two sisters, Loretta Hillestad of Durand, and Ruby Hutter of Arkansaw; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustav and Ruby Bergner; her husband, Ervin; one brother, Wayne; and two sisters, Virginia and Chris.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Durand. Pastor Daniel Pfaffe officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Monday at Goodrich Funeral Home in Durand and one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
