Rick F. Anderson
Rick F. Anderson (48) of Arkansaw, WI passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at his home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 12, 1964 in Durand, WI; son of Marvin Anderson & Carol Chroninger.
On June 27, 1987 he married Tonya Cataract at the United Methodist Church in Durand. Rick worked at Land-o-Lakes in Eau Claire until it came under new management. He then worked various jobs including Bauer Built & Uni-Patch. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, four wheeling and attending the yearly MACC Fund Shoot for a Cure Benefit in Hartford, WI. Rick was a member of the White Tails Unlimited, Durand Archery League & an advocate for anything outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with family & friends. He was a friend to everyone and touched many lives. The family would like to thank all the friends and family who supported them through the past 3 ½ years.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tonya Anderson; daughter, Sheri (Jerry Schutts) Anderson; son, Andrew (Jada Meyers); future grandson, Mason Tyler Anderson; mother, Carol (Duane) Chroninger of Readstown, WI; brother, Randy (Cheryl Huston) of Durand, WI; sister, LuAnn (Lavern) Snider of Mondovi, WI; brother, Eugene (Tammy Hollister) Anderson of Durand, WI; brother, David (Carolyn Cleven) of Downsville, WI; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and countless friends. Rick is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Anderson, infant brother, paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Community of Christ Church in Arkansaw. Pastor Dan Richardson officiating. Burial will be at Arkansaw Memorial Cemetery in Arkansaw. Friends may call Friday evening from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Community of Christ Church in Arkansaw and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers a memory fund has been set up a Security Financial Bank in Durand.
