Scott Randall Heitman

Scott Randall Heitman, 56, of  rural Nelson, WI died Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI. He was born November 12, 1965 in Wabasha, MN; son of Leonard and Jane (Bignell) Heitman.

He attended and  graduated from Durand High School in 1984. In 1990, Scott started and ran Heitman Lumber with his family. In 1992, he purchased the Heitman homestead and raised pigs and beef until the late 90’s.

On February 13, 1998 he married Stacie Breitung and together they had two children, Cory and Nichole. They later divorced. He found companionship with his significant other, Christine Flak.

Scott enjoyed spending time with his children, his family, and his dogs. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, ATV riding, and traveling.

He is survived by his children, Cory and Nichole (fiancé Ben Peterson);parents, Leonard and Jane Heitman; significant other, Christine Flak, her children and grandchildren; brother, Mark (Heidi) ;niece and nephew, Katie and Matt.

He is preceded in death by  his grandparents, Vernon and Sis “Wilma” Bignell, Edwin and Louella Heitman; and close friend, Fritz Birtzer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Urne Whitetail on Sunday, December 12, 2021 from  2-6 pm.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Lyster Lutheran Church Cemetery.
