Shaughn David Meixner

Shaughn David Meixner of Pepin, WI was born on August 28, 1992 and left this world on January 1, 2024. Shaughn was known for his love for music that echoed down the road and a smile that could brighten any room. He was a social butterfly with a passion for meaningful conversations.

Shaughn’s contagious personality allowed him to connect effortlessly with others and his immense heart embraced his loving family and friends. His interests spanned from his vast record collection, cooking, nurturing house plants and animals, competing in various endeavors, savvy shopping, indulging his artistic side through sketching to wrenching on cars. He always had a stack of car parts for his ongoing projects.

Shaughn had a knack for exploring diverse careers from cruise lines in Alaska to phone line repairs in New York, but it was at Township 23 Distillery where he discovered his true passion. His adventurous spirit and zest for life touched everyone he encountered.

Shaughn is survived by his grandmother Linda Meixner, grandfather Ronald (Judy) Goeldner, mother Mary Meixner, father Aaron Meixner, sister Kayla (Samuel) Steinberger, brother Tyler Meixner, and nephew John Steinberger. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Lon Meixner and grandmother Shirley Ghode.

A celebration of Shaughn's life will take place on January 27 from 2-5 pm at Township 23 Distillery in Nelson, WI. In our hearts, Shaughn's vibrant spirit and the echoes of his favorite tunes will forever resonate.
